These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Plandid mobile application and related services ("Services") operated by Plandid ("we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Services.

• • Minimum Age: You must be at least 13 years of age to use Plandid. The Services are strictly prohibited to individuals under 13 years old.
• • Minors (Ages 13–17): If you are between the ages of 13 and 17 (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction), you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
• • Accurate Registration: You agree to provide accurate and truthful information during registration, including your email and birthdate. Creating accounts using false age representations is a material violation of these Terms.

• • You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and password.
• • You agree to notify us immediately at contact@plandid.life if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• • You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

• • You Retain Ownership: You retain all intellectual property rights and ownership of the photos, media, text, captions, and arrangements you upload to Plandid ("User Content"). Plandid does not claim ownership of your photos or visual memories.
• • Operational License to Plandid: Solely to enable us to operate, provide, and maintain the Services for you, you grant Plandid a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, cache, encode, reproduce, and transmit your User Content as necessary to display it back to you on your devices.
• • No Commercial Licensing of Photos: Plandid will never sell, sublicense, or publicly license your personal photos to advertisers, stock photo platforms, or external commercial third parties.

• • Personal Journal, Not a Backup Utility: Plandid is designed as a structured visual storytelling journal for personal reflection. It is NOT an archival cloud backup service, disaster recovery vault, or primary photo preservation solution (such as Apple iCloud, Google Photos, or enterprise cloud drives).
• • User Backup Responsibility: You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for maintaining independent, local, or cloud backups of all photos, media, and records stored on your mobile device. Plandid disclaims any and all liability for the loss, corruption, degradation, or unrecoverability of any photos or data uploaded to the platform.
• • Storage Ceilings & Technical Quotas: To prevent platform abuse and ensure equitable performance across all users, accounts are subject to technical storage and bandwidth limits managed dynamically in our database infrastructure:
• - File Size: Maximum 1.5 MB per uploaded image (images are compressed and optimized client-side prior to transfer).
• - Account Capacity: Standard accounts are subject to the storage ceiling configured in database limits (default 1.0 GB aggregate storage per account, unless adjusted or upgraded by tier configuration).
• - Rate Limiting: API requests for media signing and presigned URLs are throttled (maximum 60 requests per minute).
• • Enforcement: We reserve the right to reject oversized files, suspend automated bulk upload scripts, and terminate accounts that intentionally circumvent technical storage quotas or abuse bandwidth resources.

• • Limited License Only: All digital stickers, decorative assets, sticker packs, typography fonts, badges, and visual embellishments made available in Plandid (whether free, unlocked via promotional code, or granted) are licensed, not sold. Plandid grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use these assets solely within the Plandid application for your personal journals.
• • No Monetary or Cash Value: Digital stickers, packs, claim codes, promo vouchers, and badges have NO monetary, cash, or fiat value of any kind. They do not constitute property, currency, or financial instruments.
• • Non-Transferable & No Secondary Market: You may not sell, barter, trade, assign, auction, sublicense, or transfer any sticker packs, claim codes, or digital assets to any third party or outside the application. Any attempted resale or commercial transfer is strictly void and constitutes grounds for immediate account termination.
• • Promotional Codes & Integrity: Claim codes provided via partnerships, social media promotions, or community campaigns are redeemable subject to individual campaign criteria. We reserve the right to invalidate codes, revoke granted packs, or suspend accounts that use automated bots, scripts, brute-force algorithms, or fraudulent methods to redeem promotional codes.

• • Visual Reference Only: Moment map lines, route representations, and location pins are generated using photo capture timestamps, on-device extracted GPS coordinates, and map vector tiles provided by OpenFreeMap and OpenStreetMap contributors.
• • No Navigation Warranty: Maps, route lines, and geographical representations displayed in Plandid are provided strictly for artistic visual illustration and retrospective memory browsing. They are NOT intended, warranted, or designed for turn-by-turn vehicle navigation, pedestrian safety, topographical analysis, emergency services, or real-time geolocation.
• • Inaccuracies: Plandid makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or currency of map data, road networks, point-of-interest labels, or geographical borders. You agree that Plandid shall have no liability for errors or omissions in third-party cartographic data.

• • Data Portability: You may export your entire journal, moments, photos, and associated metadata at any time in an open, standardized ZIP archive format generated directly on your device.
• • Third-Party Platform Sharing: If you choose to export, save, or share your moments, collages, story cards, or photos to external third-party services (such as Instagram, TikTok, Threads, WhatsApp, or cloud storage providers), you acknowledge that such shared content becomes subject to the terms of service, privacy practices, and content policies of those respective third-party platforms. Plandid is not responsible for how external platforms host, index, or distribute your exported media.

• You agree that you will not use Plandid to:
• • Violate any local, national, or international law, statute, or regulation.
• • Upload, store, or transmit any Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse Material (CSEAM). Any such detection will result in immediate termination, data preservation, and reporting to law enforcement authorities including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant statutory agencies.
• • Upload non-consensual intimate imagery, pornography, or sexually explicit content.
• • Upload content that is defamatory, harassing, abusive, threatening, or promotes violence or unlawful harm.
• • Infringe any third party's copyright, trademark, privacy, or proprietary rights.
• • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, probe, or breach the security of Plandid's backend infrastructure, Cloudflare R2 storage, or Supabase database.
• • Bypass or attempt to circumvent rate limits, storage quotas, claim code validation, or authorization policies.
• • Employ automated scrapers, bots, or distributed scripts to interact with Plandid APIs.

The Plandid app design, logo, wordmarks, visual layouts, typography systems, custom illustrations, stickers, source code, and software are the exclusive intellectual property of Plandid and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of our app without prior written consent.

• • By You: You may delete your account at any time directly in the app (Settings → Delete Account) or online at https://www.plandid.life/delete-account. Account deletion permanently deletes your profile, moments, photos, and uploaded media from our systems in accordance with our Data Retention & Deletion Policy.
• • By Plandid: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for the platform, or if we are required to do so by applicable law.
• • Account Dormancy: Accounts with no login activity or moment updates for a continuous period exceeding twelve (12) months may be scheduled for archiving or deletion following prior email notification to the registered address.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLANDID DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL ALWAYS BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

• TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
• • NO CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES: IN NO EVENT SHALL PLANDID, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, DEVICE MALFUNCTION, OR REPUTATIONAL INJURY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICES.
• • MONETARY CAP: THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF PLANDID AND ITS FOUNDERS, OFFICERS, AND EMPLOYEES FOR ALL CLAIMS, DISPUTES, OR LIABILITIES ARISING UNDER OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES—WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), WARRANTY, OR OTHERWISE—SHALL BE STRICTLY LIMITED TO AND NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO PLANDID FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE THOUSAND INDIAN RUPEES (INR 1,000) OR TWENTY UNITED STATES DOLLARS (USD $20.00).
• • CONSUMER RIGHTS PRESERVED: NOTHING IN THESE TERMS SHALL EXCLUDE OR LIMIT ANY STATUTORY CONSUMER RIGHTS THAT CANNOT BE CONTRACTUALLY WAIVED UNDER APPLICABLE LOCAL LAW.

• You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Plandid, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal and accounting fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:
• • Your access to, use of, or inability to use the Services;
• • Your User Content, including any claims that your photos, text, or metadata infringe, misappropriate, or violate any third party's copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
• • Your breach or alleged breach of any provision of these Terms or our Community Guidelines;
• • Your violation of any applicable local, national, or international law, statute, or regulation.

• • Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
• • Jurisdiction: Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
• • Consumer Rights Preserved: Where applicable local consumer protection laws provide non-waivable statutory rights to bring proceedings in your local jurisdiction, those statutory rights remain intact.
